Dans la source des principes directeurs de la TEI, cet élément se déclare lui-même, ainsi que son contenu, comme appartenant à l'espace de noms http://www.tei-c.org/ns/Examples. Cela permet au contenu de l'élément d'être validé indépendamment du schéma TEI.
